NC Minerals is a searchable database of 2700 reported mineral occurrences in the state of NC.  The database can be searched by:

   

 

 

 

Directions to sites are given where available (over half).  Field notes may be added by the user.  Maps to sites can be accessed—one based on NC DOT county maps or one based on USGS topo maps.  Site data and maps can be printed out from screen.  The program runs in Windows 95, 98, and XP.
